Board of Directors / Market Leadership Advisory Board | USGBC-NCR

I am the immediate past Chair of the board, and my continued involvement with this group allows me the ability to stay engaged with the multiple different efforts I find engaging in the community. These include the Women In Green Breakfasts (started by myself and Emily English, then Executive Director), community education, and our Midsummer Night's Green celebration.

WELL Mind Concept Advisory | IWBI

Along with 10 other members of this advisory globally, I work with the IWI to steer advise on the features and materials currently included in the Mind Concept of the WELL Building Standard. Additionally, we assist and advise on ideas and innovations which may be included in future revisions of the WELL v2 rating system as it evolves from its current pilot form to its eventual full release.

Awards of Excellence | USGBC-NCR

I have served as a juror in the awards process for the USGBC-NCR since 2012, and took over as the lead juror in early 2016. In this role, I have developed and continue to evolve both the award categories and the processes for evaluating the best sustainability work the National Capital Region has to offer. I enjoy learning from my peers in this role what outstanding design and community building solutions to our region's built environment challenges are possible.

Global HKS thought leadership champion for integrating wellbeing design into the firm’s practice
Spearheaded creation from scratch of a plethora of new tools, processes, and procedures
Presentations, nationally and internationally, to multiple, large scale (~50-100+) audiences
Working Group Member in the development of the WELL Communities Standard and WELL v2

At Stantec, my home base is in all things private sector. Workplace, but also commercial--building hospitality and multifamily opportunities in the Mid Atlantic Region. It's also one of the first places I've been encouraged to see that working wherever in the country my clients take me is easy and highly encouraged. A deep commitment to ethics is paramount here, and that suits me really well!

I contribute as a project designer, manager, and more. I spearhead the majority of our business development, and am setting up a beachhead for commercial design in the DC area in anticipation of DC's pending wave of major development sites at RFK, Southwest, Poplar Point, Navy Yard, and more.

Page, Washington, DC | Associate Principal, Interior Design DIrector

As an Interior Design Director at Page's DC office, I co-led a team of 28 design professionals in a sector-agnostic studio. Museums, higher education, workplace, behavioral health, labs, hospitality, and more--I crossed boundaries on a nearly daily basis. Just how I like it--I'm an interdisciplinary thinker and connector by nature.
